This exhibition series was first founded in 1999 in support of welfare charities and later in 2006 established itself as a charity for cultural preservation and since 2011 fundraising efforts have focused upon the regeneration of the Tohoku region after the Great East Japan Earthquake as well as conserving cultural artifacts damaged in the disaster.
