Keisuke Sagiyama

With a particular talent for video installation, Keisuke Sagiyama is an artist who adds to the pulse of the city, contributing to such major urban events as “Roppongi Art Night 2013”. In his installations he rearranges the footage he has collected into reconstructions of time and space, where the latent memory of nostalgia form a “new memory”. In “Natural Born Swing” he presents an exhibition based on 8mm film of his wife and family and seeks out how the story of one particular family may set about a chemical reaction with each of our own individual memories, drawing on sound and light to set to work on inner world of viewer.
