poster for Italian Calligraphy

This event has ended.

Led by Norio Nagayama, the club “Sumi Gokoro-kai” has been spreading Japanese calligraphy across Europe for 20 years, holding classes and seminars in places including Italy and Spain. On display are 113 calligraphic works in several different categories by 50 members and three instructors. As the first public exhibition of Italian calligraphy within Japan, this show is an opportunity to reconsider intercultural exchange through the traditional Japanese art of calligraphy.
