Artists

Masayoshi Sukita
With a long list of renowned works to his name Masayoshi Sukita has followed the iconic figure of popular music, David Bowie, for over 40 years with his photographs featured on the jackets of “Heroes” and “Tin Machine”, as well as 2013’s album “The Next Day”. And while the Victoria & Albert Museum exhibition “David Bowie Is” drew huge crowds, Masayoshi Sukita has also enjoyed new leaps of success with a touring exhibition of his work making its way across Berlin, Chicago, Paris and Melbourne, while Bowie himself has continued to prove his position at the forefront of the music scene with new avant-garde works of “Sue(or In a Season of Crime)” and “Nothing Has Changed”. Here a reflection on this 40 year relationship takes the form of an impressive photographic back-catalogue including previously unseen works.
