The Okinawan island of Ritou is home to 400 residents yet has no hair salon, forcing all locals to take the boat to Naha in order to get their hair cut. But then one day a hair stylist found himself upon the island and determined to open a hair salon for day days a month. This exhibition documents the joys of having your hair cut in your own local town.
