Winner of the 1st Outset Award at Unseen Photo Fair Amsterdam 2013, and recent solo exhibitor at Foam photography museum Amsterdam this May, Daisuke Yokota has gained wide acclaim in recent years, further heightened with his ambitious three-dimensional photo-installation “Matter” presented at the Unseen special exhibition “anima on photo” this September. If this wasn’t enough his photo book “Vertigo” was nominated for the 2014 Paris Photo “Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards” and G/P+g3 gallery is currently showcasing his bold nude series from his latest photobook “Corpus”. In conjunction with this exhibition Yokota hosts a talk session event at Vacant.
