Whether of women, children, horses, cats, or other subjects, Azusa Nakazawa’s paintings never fail to delight, bringing an involuntary smile to the viewer’s face with a power of positivity that can turn a downcast mood into a light and bright one. Nakazawa, who has a long history with Gallery Forgotten Dreams, returns for her first show in two years after marrying and giving birth. Her portraits of faces of beautiful women display classical styles and contemporary sensibilities in an array of lovely feminine expressions.
