For close to a quarter of a century Mitsuru Suyama has continued to depict the scenes of Iriomote, Okinawa, painting images of shells, flowers, mangroves and music while listening to the wind and waves of the sea along with classical music, opening up the distinct sense of time embedded in the Okinawa islands.
