Tokyo Takarazuka Theater: The Flower of Hibiya

This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Tokyo Takarazuka Theater, which opened in Hibiya as Japan’s largest theatre in 1934. It was taken over by American forces after World War II and closed temporarily in 1998. It was rebuilt and reopened in 2001. This exhibition celebrates its 80 years of history with posters, photographs, and other materials related to its performances.
