Shin Fukumori, Masakatsu Takagi
Head of Shobu Gakuen and otto & orabu leader Shin Fukumori joins with artist Masakatsu Takagi in a discussion of coexistence of diversity. Based on Kagoshima, Shobu Gakuen is a center for people with mental disabilities and consists of a high quality workshop and restaurant staffed by both people with and without disabilities. One of the leading projects of this organization is otto & orabu, a group of percussion and voice performance. Masakatsu Takagi is an internationally recognized artist who works with piano and computers to create music and was selected amongst the 2009 Newsweek “100 Most Respected Japanese People”.
