Kenichiro Kaneko
Brought up in the river surrounded district of Sumida-ku, Kenichiro Kaneko creates work seemingly inspired by these river landscapes, with a build of layers which produced a feeling of transparency as if being within the river water itself. While drawing on the traditional techniques of nihonga he combines these with new materials to open up a world never encountered before.
