Art Bridge Institute Director Chihiro Minato chooses a different theme for each year’s Bridge Talk, intended as a bridge between societies, communities, and art. Igarashi has been active in Takikawa, Hokkaido’s Art Challenge Takikawa since 2003. Through this network of artists and designers, art brings out the fresh appeals of communities, building ties between people across Japan as they think about the futures of their towns. This talk will describe Art Challenge Takikawa’s 12 years of activity. (In Japanese)
