This welfare-themed exhibition focuses on cool and cute wearable designs that appeal to all but are made for persons with disabilities, as well as amazing technologies that enhance the capabilities of everyone. In their ideas and implementations, these creative solutions by the NPO People Design Institute address issues related to gender, nationality, age, body type, and mental ability in a very Shibuya-esque approach to welfare as a way of improving people’s lives. These designs and technologies for welfare equipment and services give people with and without disabilities extraordinary new talents while looking stylish.
