In this age of visual communication, making a photograph is easier than ever before. The Hillside Terrace Fair aims to further promote the incorporation of photography into everyday lifestyles in Japan ― a country which has not only the world’s largest population of art viewers, but is also home to numerous camera manufacturers and internationally acclaimed photographers. This fair will feature 18 galleries and 10 booksellers and publishers, which lead the world of art photography today, with further plans to expand the fair annually in coordination with other events held simultaneously in Tokyo.
