The 18th edition of Life in Art features the work of Hideaki Hamada who traveled to Lithuania in 2012 as part of a project to promote Japanese culture and reflect on the events of 3.11. Here Hamada presents a series of photographs which offer up new images of the Lithuanian landscape, filled with fields and forests in the early Spring and capturing the softness and receptivity of the region to Japan in the wake of the disaster.
