Chiaki Horikoshi
Presenting the fourth exhibition in the Art Colours series. Chiaki Horikoshi is a celebrated painter, essayist, potter, and singer with his own tea house in the mountains of Kamiizuminura. He spends his time traveling between the cheerful warmer climates of Spain and the wabi-sabi (elegance and austerity) of Japan, producing free and uninhibited works of art. These works are on display at the Park Hotel Tokyo’s 25th–34th floor atrium, a park-like space. Visitors can enjoy tea, desert, and cocktails inspired by the exhibition while taking in Horikoshi’s work. Thirty-meter projection mapping images of the art will be displayed in the evenings. Please see the official website for details.
