This exhibition offers a look at the Sanno and Tenka Shinto festivals of Chiyoda Ward with artwork including dolls, picture scrolls, and folding screens used in the festivals’ parades, as well as photography and video footage of these biennial events. Special events including a workshop on festival chants give visitors a fuller taste of the Edo culture to be experienced in these festivals.
