Commemorating the 150th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Switzerland, this exhibition traces Swiss design from the 19th through the 20th centuries and on to the present, showcasing uniquely Swiss contributions to the fields of product, graphic, architectural, and interior design. The exhibition includes an exploration of the rationality and universal appeal of the likes of Le Corbusier(1887-1965)and Max Bill(1908-1994) alongside recent winners of the prestigious Swiss Design Award.
