Finished

Artists

The University Museum, the University of Tokyo(UMUT)
When tracing the economic history of Iwate Prefecture, mining and water transport are central elements. Although Iwate has been seen as remote due to these natural barriers, mountains have provided natural resources, while rivers and the sea were the sole means of exporting them. The present screening will focus on iron and its uses by man, in relation to industry and traditional crafts in Iwate Prefecture.
