This exhibition marks the release of “The Book for Painting for 12 Month,” a collection of work by painter Keisuke Kondo. From September 2013, Kondo painted a new work for 12 consecutive months, a project he titled “Painting for 12 Months.” Each work was made under unique conditions, and most were exhibited at MA2 Gallery in Ebisu. The works were accompanied by texts by 12 writers sharing their thoguhts. The book features all of the paintings and texts, as well as printing materials and other paintings used in their creation. An exhibition of the works is held simultaneously at MA2 Gallery.
