Tensai 108 creates an exhibition space and marketplace at Zojoji Temple, where the public and contemporary artists, artisans, and creators can meet for the promotion of local culture and commerce. The highlight of the festival is the selection for the “Zojoji Contemporary Collection,” in which a winning work is chosen to be donated to the temple, allowing visitors to witness a moment when a great work of art of our time is preserved for future generations. This is the second annual Tensai 108 event.
