“Asian Creatives” is a collaboration between Tsutaya Books and ubies, a creative platform originating in Asia and uniting the world. Aiming to bring the countries of Asia together and generate new creativity, the project kicks off with a talk celebrating the publication of “Asian Creatives: 150 Emerging Talents in Art, Design, Illustration, and Photography.” The book was planned and edited by ubies and published by Pie International.

The event welcomes Chris Lee, who comes to Japan from Singapore, one of Asia’s creative hubs. In addition to directing his design studio, Asylum, Lee acts as a representative of The Design Society. Joining him is Eisuke Tachikawa from the social innovation design firm Nosigner. Tachikawa is involved in a variety of projects in Asia and around the world. These two leading figures will speak about the methods and significance of creating new businesses that cross borders to unite the countries of Asia through creativity.
