In his 5th solo exhibition at Taro Nasu Ryan Gander presents a collection of 17 new works including sculpture, moving image and 2D work, drawn from the materials and events of everyday life. Playing upon the distance between viewer and art work Gander allows for a humorous revision of the everyday and invites us to encounter the common place as something new and foreign, transforming the viewer into a reader, in which they may freely exercise their imagination and interpretation.
