Directly the confronting the material of their creations and their unique characteristics these two artists formulate tactile forms across painting and sculpture.
Kineta Kunimatsu takes on images of the horizon and mountainscapes drawn from the abstract grain of the wooden panel support and pushed towards a landscape of memory. While at the same time Nozomi Watanabe employs the traditional technique of dry lacquer to explore spatial definitions of inside and out.
