Tomoo Gokita
Displaying remarkable talent in the field of illustration, Tomoo Gokita (b. 1969) has been leaving a huge mark on subculture since the 1990s, holding exhibitions of his large works in Japan and abroad for more than a decade. This exhibition, Gokita’s first solo show at an art museum, highlights the diversity of his art today with around 90 works, including eleven of his latest drawings, never-before-exhibited paintings, and large pieces shown in Japan for the first time.
