Taikan Yokoyama
Mt. Fuji was a motif throughout the career of the revolutionary Nihonga painter Taikan Yokoyama (1868–1958). This exhibition traces the stylistic transformations in Yokoyama’s portrayal of Japan’s iconic mountain from the Meiji through Showa eras.
