Returning to Takashimaya Shinjuku Art Gallery after 4 years Shikoh Sawada offers up a dream like world bringing life to wood, which has been revered by the Japanese since ancient times with its sacred associations. Here he presents 15 sculptures in the form of animal motifs, cut from the wood of the camphor tree.
