In 2008, world-famous dancer and choreographer Pina Bausch selected 40 teenagers who had never heard of her to be part of her dance piece “Contact Zone”, training intensively for 10 months, grappling with lack of confidence and an initial struggle to understand, these youths undergo a transformation under the instruction of Pina and her team of coaches, coming to reach moves and expressions of singular beauty.
