This event has ended.

The artistic methods of Hikari Ono, Yuri Takezawa, and Mana Hayakawa share common traits. Portraying the same themes in painting and sculpture, taking and displaying photographs in the same place, and arranging pictures on shelves, they have produced works that emphasize the ways in which images act as receptacles. This approach focuses on the relationships as well as the forms of works of art, powerfully drawing awareness to objects’ positions and the ways their surroundings affect them. Our perceptions of the same things change according to how and where they objects appear. In this exhibition, three artists pose questions about the fundamentals of expression, shaking the consciousness of the viewer, and ways of seeing.
