Having gained critical success during his lifetime, the acclaim of Andy Warhol came to reach new heights after his death in 1987. In Japan Andy Warhol became a house hold name through the large scale exhibition at Tokyo and Kobe’s Daimaru stores in 1974. Ms. X played a significant role in this exhibition and in promoting the work of Warhol to Japan and here fields a unique collection of work from Warhol and his contemporaries.
