Rooted in the idea that “roads connect people, and people create the future,” this exhibition presents photographs by the international photographer Jimmy Ming Shum that capture the one-of-a-kind Kumano Koda “pilgrims’ road” found in Kyushu’s Tanabe City. In addition to the road itself, these photographs offer glimpses into the lives of the people who live along it, their work, and the special atmosphere of the place.
