Ichiro Irie, Lucas Kazansky
Having recently completed his BA in Design Media Art at UCLA, Lucas Kazansky has been creating media art, kinetic sculpture, and videos that revolve around his fascination with the concept and aesthetics of destruction and self destruction. Irie, having received his BA in Film Studies and Communications Studies at UCSB, and his MFA at Claremont Graduate University, has been making work more recently around these ideas as well, especially in relation to modernity and consumption.The exhibition will feature found object, sculpture paintings, 3D prints, kinetic sculpture, drawings, and interactive media art using downloadable software on mobile devices.
