Cumulating his residency with 3331 Arts Chiyoda, Barry Whittaker (American artist active in Toledo, Ohio) will be presenting a series of digital works in this exhibition. Photography, video, interactive installation, audio, websites, and drawings are among the many methods utilized in his past works. With abundant opportunities for miscommunication while living a foreign life in Tokyo, where excessive digital communication throws messages in and out of space, Whittaker has been able to feed these experiences into his newest 3D works and soundscapes.
