The National Gallery of Art (NGA) in Washington, DC, is the only national art museum in the United States that specializes in Western art, both European and American. The entire collection has been donated by the American people and the gallery boasts a world class collection of astonishing scale and quality. This exhibition displays a collection of the most popular French Impressionist and Post Impressionist works from the NGA. The NGA is currently undergoing a large-scale renovation, and so this collection, which rarely travels outside the gallery in Washington, can be brought to you comprising a total of 68 masterpieces, including 38 works never seen before in Japan. The museum hopes you will enjoy this Impressionist collection of gems held in great esteem in the US, including works by Renoir, Manet, Monet, Degas, Cezanne and Van Gogh.
