Ken Kagami Bronze Works 2013–2014

Artists

Ken Kagami
These sculptures made out of bronze, a traditional sculpting material, take the reverse approach to Ken Kagami’s typical practice of using unconventional materials. Tackling subjects far removed from art, these works represent the antithesis of Kagami’s usual ideas. The bronze pieces include a crushed can picked up from the side of the road, used cotton swabs, and boogers. Kagami’s work as an adult continues in the spirit of youthful mischief.
