Kodue Hibino
With a creative perspective that separates her from both fashion designers and graphic designers, Kodue Hibino continues to give life to a dazzling array of designs. Focusing on the “cells” at the heart of Hibino’s creative activities, the exhibition will introduce numerous elements of the artist’s captivating body of work.The main channel for Hibino’s artistic output is “Nihongo de Asobo”, a program on NHK Educational TV (E-Tele) that features her costumes and set designs. In addition to highlighting pieces from Nihongo de Asobo, the exhibition will breathe “new life” into ggg with a collection of costumes, images, and videos that showcase Hibino’s advertisements, costume designs, “Live Bone” performances, and upcoming theatrical collaborations with Hideki Noda.
