Robert Capa “The 101st Year - They All Adored Bob”

Tokyo Photographic Art Museum
Finished

Artists

Robert Capa
Spending most of his life in the warzones of Spain and various other areas of conflict, Robert Capa built up a collection of over 70,000 photographic works, but these are not limited only to the depictions of war, but also include images of friends and contemporaries which provide insight into a different side of the great photographer, filled with a particular humor and joy of life. To mark 101 years since Capa’s birth this exhibition attempts to reveal the personal, human touch of a man known more for such images as “The Falling Soldier”.
