Viviane Sassen
Dutch photographer Vivane Sassen has worked for the fashion magazines Purple, Dazed & Confused, and Pop Magazine, as well brands including Miu Miu and Louis Vuitton. In addition to fashion photography, she also energetically publishes and exhibits original and modern works set in South Africa, where she traces her roots. In 2011 she was chosen by New York’s International Center of Photography for the ICP Infinity Award, and has had her work exhibited at the mid-career retrospective “In and Out of Fashion” at Amsterdam’s Huis Marseille Museum for Photography in 2013 and the major solo show “Umbra” at the Nederlands Fotomuseum in 2012. Her photography is on display at Ebisu’s G/P Gallery and Shinonome’s g3 Gallery.
