Sakae Ozawa “Viridian March”

Ginza Maison Hermès
Finished

Artists

Sakae Ozawa
The works of Sakae Ozawa, Maison Hermès’ newest window display artist, stand out for their unique colors and strong narrative compositions. Until now Ozawa has focused on the 2D medium of painting, and this display marks the first time for her to work with physical space. In the scene she has created, luxuriant trees come into the line of sight while small paintings affixed to the wall present the figures of young girls, bringing the viewer face-to-face with the lush greenery in a penetrating way.
