Hiroshi Tokuda of “Tokuda Meiboku” has fostered a new business in the custom use of rare and uniquely shaped wood in interior design and has built up a treasure trove of 30,000 trees/pieces which are ready to inspire new spaces. Here he talks of his work with restaurants and bars and how the natural forms of wood may be incorporated into the structure of a building itself.
