Ryosuke Ogino, Taiyo Kimura, Tatsuo Majima
This show spotlights the recent activities of Ryosuke Ogino, Taiyo Kimura, and Tatsuo Majima, three artists born in 1970 whose work appeared fourteen years ago in “Sagacho 2000: The Light of Hope”, the closing exhibition of Sagacho Exhibition Space, Japan’s first alternative art space. Ogino, Kimura, and Majima presented the exhibition “Gray” at Beppu Art Month 2012. Inspired by a world that is not black and white, its works pursue the possibilities of structure through the unique ideas and experiments of the three artists. Not restricted in form or subject matter, the only criterion for the works is that they feature the color gray. Held at Dragged Out Studio as well as Sagacho Archives, this exhibition presents painting, sculpture, and performance art, including new works.
