Founded in 1950, the Japan Photographers Society promotes creative activities as an organization of professional photographers. It aims to enhance the skills and professional standings of photographers and protect and universalize their copyrights. It established the JPS Exhibition in 1976 in order to revive photography culture.

Hours	10:00-18:00 Closes at 20:00 on Thursdays and Fridays.
Closed	Monday Open on a public holiday Monday but closed on the following day. Closed during the New Years holidays.
