Mari Ito
What is desire? In our contemporary society of networks and surveillance, human beings want to know everything. But have we lost sight of our true selves in this increasingly complex world? Mari Ito, who explores universal themes in her paintings, externalizes our subconscious desires in these dreamlike works addressing the undying human urge to see and show the invisible.
