OS-XX - A Prologue to the Operation Systems of Future Cities

Tokyo Arts and Space Hongo
Finished

Artists

Pedro Inoue, Yuken Teruya, Jean-François Prost
Examining the operating system (OS) of cities through the lens of various historical contexts, this exhibition provides an opportunity to think about the future of Tokyo and that of cities. While posing a question towards the absorption of diverse cultural values arising paradoxically out of globalization and their creation of multiple identities, the works on show here explore the formation of the cities of the cities through the visions of creators building on the latest ideas and methodologies.
