Mai Endo presents a video installation and performance reaching out towards the ideal acceptance of the “other” in the form of Hatsuone Miku and the Virgin Mary. The combination of these two figures and the discrepancies between them might be said to be the contemporary form of the Annunciation, keenly interpreted here by this artist and actress.
