The Nature of Civilization series is a body of work which directly photographs circuit boards, utilizing the magic of light to capture their maze of electronic routes and the city which appears to emerge within them. Such circuit boards may be read as symbols of our technological advancement as a civilization, and allow us to touch upon both a micro and macro scale, through which we may discern a certain beauty of function.
