Naoya Hatakeyama is a photographer renowned for his depictions of quarries, city rivers and underground spaces. Since his mother and the family home was taken by the tsunami of 3.11 Hatakeyama has returned to his hometown and begun to document the transformation of its scenery. Now four years on he continues to hold a camera to the this site of disaster and points to a hope for the future.
