Using the exhibition as a medium, Ellie Omiya conveys words and images to the audience, emphasizing real experiences within specific places. This “living art” she launches from the unique place of herself emanates an overwhelming strength and madness, particularly within the art world, which makes much of history and technique. This show is a chance to reconsider what “painting” and “expression” is to us.
