Stories of War Told Through Clothing

Bunka Gakuen Costume Museum
Finished
This marks 70 years since the end of WWII. Under the hardships of war, life clearly changes but one of these changes includes the clothes that you wear.
This exhibition features clothing worn in the period between the Meiji era and early Showa, while comparing this with clothing popular in Europe at the same time, as well showcasing examples of military clothing worn by samurai in the Edo era.
