Rey Camoy Retrospective: on the 30th Anniversary of his Death

Tokyo Station Gallery
Finished

Artists

Rey Camoy
Rey Camoy looked deep inside human nature to portray his own heart and soul on canvas. Here a retrospective of his work is held in Tokyo for the first time in 25 years and marks the 30th anniversary of his death. Over 100 examples of his work are brought together, including his oil painting masterpieces left after his early death at 57 years – from self-portraits of his teenage years to works unveiled posthumously – as well as sketches and personal artifacts. This exhibition will showcase the sublime world of Rey Camoy to wider audiences who cannot fail to be caught in fascination by his life and work.
